WORLD MASTERS GAMES – NEW ZEALAND – FINAL UPDATE

All WA teams finished first or second in their groups and out of about 20 teams, finished in the top 10.

The comraderie and spirit that is part of every team in this tournement is testament to the love we all have for this game.

There was a furious amount of shirt and badge swapping, bartering and great conversations about football and culture (mainly between Australian, American and ?? Canadian teams, as almost 100% of the groups were made up of these countries).

Great stuff ladies! Go WA!

The next World Masters Games is in Japan in 2021.
