Woodvale FC Women’s Team

The Woodvale FC women’s team are on the look out for some new players, and they want you!
We currently play in division 2 in the Bankwest Women’s Metropolitan League and have finished top four every year since we began.


We are a family friendly club, catering for all ages with our junior boys and girls teams as well.


Our next registration day will be held on Sunday 16th February at Timberlane Clubrooms, Althea Way, Woodvale from 10am to 2pm.

Beckenham Angels Women’s Soccer Club

Beckenham Angels Women’s Soccer Club – 2013 Cup Champions & league runners up, 2012 league champions & night series winners

Commencing Preseason training Tuesday 14 January 2014.

Venue is Redcliffe Reserve, Grand parade Belmont
Time: 6:30-8.00pm (Tuesday and Thursday)

The club will field teams in;
State League: Premier League, Reserves
Metro League: (NEW) Div 1 & 3
(NEW) Juniors: U13 & U15

The Angels have experienced strong interest from players wanting to come to the club in 2014 and we will have three new teams in (women’s) Metro div 1 and with a few more players we will have two new junior teams (u13 & u15) coached by inaugural Perth Glory player Dani Calautti and premier league golden boot winner (2011) Andrea Preiato. The club is a women’s/girls only club with great resources and excellent coaching, including 2012 coach of the year Jason Washington-King and goal keeper coach former Matilda Tracey Wheeler

Curtin Women’s Soccer Club Are Recruiting for 2014

Curtin women’s teams are looking for a reserves coach and players for 2014

Curtin Soccer Club has a First and Reserves team in the Division 1 State League and one team in Division 4.

The club is looking for a voluntary women’s coach for their State League Division 1 Reserves Team. Training is Tuesday and Thursday nights at Edinburgh Oval, Curtin University.

Local football photographer Eduardo Morgan passes on

Much respected local photographer, Eduardo Morgan Del Castillio (known as Eduardo DC Morgan or simply as Eduardo) passed on earlier this week.

You may remember Eduardo always with a camera around his neck, over his shoulder and asking about football for his next gig. Always with a smile. A lovely guy. Well liked and sorely missed.

The funeral is today Friday January 10, 2014.

Venue- St Mary Star of The Sea Church, 2 McNeil St Cottesloe

Time- 1.30pm

Thanks to his agent Bill Cameron for passing on funeral information that we can share with the football community Eduardo loved and spent so much time with.

Melville City Football Club Open Days 2014

Melville enter its third year in the women’s State League in 2014. The club is building an experienced but very young female membership.

As part of our growth we are undergoing upgrades with extra lighting to one of our 3 training facilities to allow more night training, a new store area to accommodate the growing needs of the club and Promotion Days in late January and early February to thank returning members and attract new members of any age.

Monday 27th January kick starts the club with a girls and women’s football promotion at the Melville Bunnings store, corner of Leach Highway and North lake Road. This is followed by a Club Day where Perth Glory and all of the Melville Club coaches and new players will attend to meet each other, grade and be welcomed to Melville.

Girls teams have been training through summer as a lead in to the 2014 season. Senior players for Metropolitan and State League Teams will all have the opportunity to meet the club, join with us in some free football clinics and ask any questions in early February. Everyone has the opportunity to be a part of Melville. There are levels for every girl and woman.

Cockburn City SC start State League training 2014

Cockburn City Soccer Club would like to extend invitations to players within the area to attend pre-season training.Training commences Monday 13th January and Wednesday 15th January from 6:30 till 8:00pm at Beale Park Spearwood. Players must be aged 14+ to participate in women’s State league competition.

Cockburn have recently been promoted to the State Premier League and as a result seek to add to our ever developing women’s set up.
