Modified Night Series.

Queens Park has kindly offered to host a Premier Division Night Series.

There will be a team entry fee to be paid directly to Queens Park SC of $100 to cover extra costs such as lights and ground markings.

As the group stage is now considerably smaller, the Night Series will now commence on Friday 2 March and the Final will be on Sunday 1 April.

The WA Futsal team won most of their round games in their recent Sydney Tournement and just missed out on making the finals. Queens Park’s Jess Lindquist captained the squad, while Beckenham Angels’ Kris Antonic made the Allstar team.

West Coast Futsal is inviting players with aspirations of playing for WA and Australia down to Hollywood this Friday. Guest Brazilian Coach is here in WA to identify and  coach skills starting this Friday 3rd February 630-830pm. Open sessions.

Curtin Soccer Club Pre-Season Underway – Coaching Positions Available

Curtin Soccer Club women’s teams have begun pre-season trainings. They are being held Tuesday and Thursday evenings 6:00pm -7:30pm on Barblett Oval at Curtin University. Women of all ages invited to join us, as we look to fill three teams this season!

Entering our second season as a State League Division One squad, we are excited to introduce a Division One Reserves team along with our established Division 5. So, our club offers a highly competitive scene for those interested in first or second team, and a more social atmosphere in Division 5.

The club is seeking coaches, along with players, for the women’s teams. If interested in applying your knowledge of and passion for the game in a coaching role, please contact Campbell Ballantyne (Club President) on 0402421233.

New Club Headquarters! This season also sees a move from South Oval fields and clubrooms to recently renovated Edinburgh Oval and Sports Pavilion. Pre-Season is taking place on Barblett Oval, behind Curtin Stadium.

Quinn’s  FC Women’s team are looking for expressions of interest for a coach for the new State div 1 and Reserve team.  In 2010  the Quinn’s Women’s team won the div 1 title. And in 2011 they finished 3rd losing only one league game in that season. The club has been working hard in recent years to build up their girls youth system which is now in place,  This will see those youth players coming through this year. It is an exciting time to be involved with the women’s teams as we move forward into 2012. With the firm foundation now in place, we are now looking for an experienced coach to take the team forward. The coach will need a positive attitude and to be able to motivate.
It would be desirable for the successful applicant to hold a recognised certificate in coaching.
