Subject: Council of Clubs Meeting

The Women’s Standing Committee have invited one representative from each State League Club to a Council of Clubs Meeting.

Date: Monday 27th March

Purpose of the meeting:

– Outline the role of Women’s Standing Committee and how clubs can be more involved in the decision making process.
– Discuss the direction of Women’s Football
– Outline issues facing women’s clubs in WA
– Instigate more leadership and action from Football West with regards to Women’s Football.

Applications open for Extension of Womens State League 2016

The State League Division One which currently consists of 9 teams, will be expanded in 2016.

The Women’s Standing Committee is currently undertaking a review of the current State League set up and is taking on feedback to determine a pathway into National Premier League Football.

Womens Standing Committee Meeting

The next Womens Standing Committee Meeting is aproaching Wednesday October 8.

On the agenda is

constructing a calendar with all relevant and critical football dates to allow clubs and Football west to plan ahead without conflicting with other events and organisations (school sports, npl etc)

assessing new State League Entries

reconstructing the State League regards numbers of teams

re-assessing the Night Series and introducing a Top Four competition

the length of the season

how to guage your thoughts and feedback on these things in the absence of a forum (maybe survey monkey)
