An update to keep everyone in the loop leading up to the World Masters. Thanks to those of you that turned up for the first meeting held on Tuesday 19th April. It was a good turn out and helped us sort out a few things regarding what was expected of the group. A few points & dates;

We have had a great response to our call for players with over 50 responses across all ages groups.

Football West are supporting 3 teams playing under the Black Swan Banner, Over 40’s, Over 45’s & Over 50’s

There are two trials organised for Saturday 14th & 28th May, 10am – noon @ Gibbney Reserve, Mephan St, Maylands. There will be Football West representation to help with the selection process. These dates may not suit everyone, so if you are unable to make those dates please let the WMG organising group know and we can see what alternatives can be arranged for the selection process. The process is important to establish an understanding of skill level and positions that players are best playing in to develop a balanced squad.

Please respond to with one of the following;

Yes – 14th May

Yes – 28th May

Yes – Both

No – But still interested

No – No longer interested

Starting in June there will be a training session once a month until the end of our season. This will be at Gibbney Reserve 10am – noon, every 3rd Saturday of the month.

To better gauge the numbers and as a show of serious interest we will be requesting a $50 deposit. This will be fully refundable. So please bring it down to the trials. There will be a bank account opened so people can direct debit the money.
